Singapore Education Delegation Visits Watai Industrial
On March 10, Watai Industrial Co., Ltd. welcomed a delegation of 14 educators from Singapore. The visit was part of the Management and Leadership in Schools (MLS) Programme organized by the National Institute of Education (NIE) at Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
The MLS programme aims to develop future-ready educational leaders by providing opportunities to understand regional education systems and build professional networks beyond Singapore.
The delegation included department heads, level heads, and curriculum leaders from various primary schools, secondary schools, and junior colleges in Singapore. During the visit, participants attended a company presentation introducing Watai Industrial’s development, management philosophy, and talent development strategy, followed by a factory tour to observe the production line and learn about practical approaches to quality management, workforce development, and sustainable operations.
Both sides also exchanged views on leadership development and sustainable management, promoting dialogue between the education sector and industry.
To welcome the delegation, Watai Industrial prepared Taiwanese specialty snacks such as red bean cakes and bubble milk tea, while the visitors presented Singaporean cookies and a thank-you card to express their appreciation.
The Chairman noted that such exchanges help educators better understand Taiwan’s industrial development and management practices, while encouraging further discussion on talent development and sustainability.
Committed to ESG principles, Watai Industrial actively engages with local schools and communities through educational visits and community activities. The company looks forward to continued collaboration between industry and education in the future.
